Aventurine Health's Virtual Services
All Homeopathic consultations are conducted virtually, through Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or FaceTime.
The Initial Constitutional Consultation is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, and includes a detailed Case Taking and Assessment, including but not limited to details about the main area of concern, sensitivities, sleep patterns, habits, environment, traumas, past medical history, family history and evaluation recent of blood results in the case of chronic care. A treatment plan that will be discussed towards the latter part of the consultation. This is tailored to New Patients or returning patients who have not consulted in more than 6 months. After the consultation, an in-depth analysis of your case will be conducted and a treatment plan will be tailored to your current needs. This process usually takes a Homeopath an additional 1.5 to 2 hours of independent work, after your consultation.
A Follow-Up Consultation is approximately 50 minutes. At the end of your Initial Constitutional Consultation, you will be advised when to schedule your Follow-Up consultation. After each consultation, your case will be analyzed in detail, and a treatment plan will be communicated to you.
An Acute Consultation is typically shorter, between 30-35 minutes, in order to assess and treat the onset of a sudden emotional or physical symptom, in a New or Existing Patients. This type of consultation is for acute conditions such as fever, flu, injuries, in which case you are still strongly advised to seek medical assistance from your Doctor, Walk-In Clinic or Emergency Rooms concurrently. You will be asked detailed questions about your main symptom, including your feelings around it, your body temperature, appetite and what makes your symptom feel better or worse. This may also be needed in the case of emotional or psychological trauma, in order to assist you in processing your experience and emotions. You will be prescribed with a Homeopathic Remedy and we will follow up with you later the same day, or early the next day. This appointment may not be rescheduled nor cancelled.
Homeopathic remedies may be obtained from Aventurine Health or independently, from your local Health Store. If obtained from the former, postage will be charged for in addition to the cost of medications and costs will be discussed during the consult. A separate invoice will be issued for remedies. If remedies are obtained independently, you will be issued a Homeopathic prescription.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a gap in the schedule, that could have been filled by another patient waiting to receive care. At Aventurine Health, we value your time and well-being and encourage you to do the same, and to get the support and care that you need. As such, a 24 hour notice is required for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Acute Consultations may not be re-scheduled nor cancelled. Patients who provide less than 24 hour notice, will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. Appointments cancelled within 2 hours of scheduled consultation time will be charged in full. Furthermore, failure to show up for an appointment without cancelling, will be regarded as a no-show and charged in full.
Health Insurance and Medical Aid
Consultation Fees are paid in full when booking a consultation. The onus is upon the client to submit any claims for reimbursement. Please take the necessary steps to find out about your Health Insurance coverage for Homeopathy.
